Gargoyle Head

Hand sculpted by the excellent Emily Endelaine this little gargoyle has spent his days cheekily grinning over churchyards and cemeteries but now he wants to retire and spend some time inside.

He introduced himself as a gargoyle but we keep telling him that he’s technically a grotesque, but he wasn’t having any of it… sigh, maybe you’ll have more luck discussing the scrutiny of 13th century architecture with him... we’ve just been met with stone cold silence on the matter.

The heads in this series vary slightly in size but the mount they are all affixed to is 100mm across.

For these models we are using a factory pre-tinted resin that means the ratios of colour are all consistent, perfect if you are planning to adorn your walls with multiple heads! Each head comes as pictured with a wire fixed to the back in order to hang on a wall.

I know some of you will want to paint your and others will want to hang them straight up, so please choose between the options below - ‘fixed to the wall mount’ will be ready to hang on your wall as soon as you get it! ‘Separate from wall mount’ will make painting easier but you will have to attach it to the mount yourself - I recommend a two part epoxy glue.
